Peter Petrou is the Managing Partner at Aspen Morris Solicitors and an International Award Winning Lawyer. Peter graduated from Kings’ College London University (UK) where he studied Law and obtained LLB (Hons), and a Distinction in his Legal Practice Course later on.
He commenced his legal career at leading US Law Firm Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP where he joined their Capital Markets department, dealing with a wide range of equity, equity-linked and debt capital markets transactions, including IPO’s and Stock Market listings. He then moved to Trowers & Hamlins LLP, where he assisted his clients in Africa, Russia, India and the Middle-East on several real estate, corporate, project finance transactions and litigation.
Peter was elected in April 2014 as the Vice-President of the American International Commercial Arbitration Court, a leading arbitration court with arbitrators from the US, South American, Europe, Middle-East, Far-East and Africa. An Ambassador to the UK Cyprus Enterprise Council ( a group of distinguished leaders in their respective fields that promote bilateral trade between the UK and Cyprus), he also sits as a Partner to the FEOD Group, a leading legal and business group based in the Ukraine and Russia.
Peter was awarded the prestigious “Excellence Award” by Property Investor Africa in July 2014, for “Outstanding Contribution to Real Estate in Africa 2014″.
